Have you ever stopped and thought.. my dog is always happy? Happy to see me, happy to eat, happy to go for a walk or a drive, happy when I get home, happy to just lay with me, happy that he found a stick. They are truly a special species who live in the moment, embracing every bit of the simplest things. They remind us that in the midst of the chaos, life is filled with many little pleasures along the way. From doing zoomies to endless enthusiasm, they truly encompass the art of being happy.

They Provide Unconditional Love and Loyalty

Our dogs are the true definition of unconditional love and loyalty. Regardless of a bad day, a heartbreak, or a life changing situation, they stay by our side. They may rely on us to feed them and walk them, but the loyalty they provide is limitless. Their warmth and affection can immediately turn our day around and is something that we know, no matter the situation, is a constant.

Embracing the Joy in the Simple Things

Have you found your dogs “spot”? The joy they reflect from a simple scratch or playing fetch, is something we humans, often take for granted. They have an innate ability to enjoy all the moments of every day, whether that’s receiving their favorite treat, going for a walk, or simply just being in the present. Our dogs teach us that happiness is short from grand accomplishments, promotions, or any of the materialistic things that we strive to obtain. They show us the “present” is the true gift of today.

A Dog’s Power to Heal

Sometimes a guide dog, an emotional support dog, a therapy dog, or simply our fur baby. Many studies have found that not only can our dogs provide us with assistance in performing daily functions, but they can also improve stress levels, calm our anxiety, reduce feelings of depression, and help us be in better cardiovascular health. They remind us that what means the most in life is – happiness and love.

Ensuring they are the Happiest they can be!

We live in a world of constant movement. We live life working, running errands, being a good friend, or a good family member. Alongside of that we need to make sure we don’t take the time we spend with our dogs for granted. Making sure they are happy and healthy should be on the top of our list along with all the other daily priorities. Every moment with spend in their presence is a gift, after all, they are only here for a part of our lives. We are their whole LIFE.
